Firkin Friday: Tattersall Rum-barreled 19th Anniversary Ale + River’s Edge Bistro

We will be tapping a special cask of Tattersall Rum-barreled 19th Anniversary Ale @ 3 pm. A firkin is a small keg in which the fermented base beer gets an additional shot of yeast and sugar (we use a small amount of honey) creating a secondary fermentation and carbonation. It will sit up on the bar and slightly warm up to a cellar temperature. The result is a smooth, creamy ale bursting with fresh, fruity goodness. Along for the fun is River’s Edge Bistro opening from 4-8 pm for the festivities, we’ll see you there!
