Firkin Alert: Minion IPA + Ike’s Thai Shop

We will be tapping a special cask of Minion IPA infused with Mosaic and Cryo Pop hops @ noon. A firkin is a small keg in which the fermented base beer gets an additional shot of yeast and sugar (we use a small amount of honey) creating a secondary fermentation and carbonation. It will sit up on the bar and slightly warm up to a cellar temperature. The result is a smooth, creamy ale bursting with fresh, hoppy goodness. Ike’s Thai Shop will be serving from 1-5 pm.
