Once a month, we like to present our deserving patrons with a real ale option. Today, we will be popping a small firkin of our newest hazy IPA, the Phaze 11. This will be the first taste of this beer which will officially be released later this month! A firkin is a small keg in which the fermented base beer gets an additional shot of yeast and sugar (we use a small amount of honey) creating a secondary fermentation and carbonation. The result is a smooth, creamy ale bursting with fresh, hoppy goodness. To complement this one of a kind ale will be food from everyone’s favorite River’s Edge Bistro (4-8).
