Rush River Brewing Co. was founded in 2004 just above the confluence of the Rush River and Lake Pepin in scenic Maiden Rock, Wisconsin, by converting a pole barn into a fully-functioning brewery. Initially, our team produced a limited quantity of draft-only ales, steadily building a reputation in the Upper Midwest for brewing a high quality product. The Unforgiven Amber Ale was the first unfiltered ale we brewed and remains our flagship beer.
In 2007 we opened a new facility in River Falls, Wisconsin, adding a bottling line and additional fermenters and conditioning tanks. This allowed us to broaden our geographic reach and distribution network, yet we continue to experiment with new flavors and styles. No matter our size going forward, we will endeavor to create the best possible ales for you.
In March of 2015 we opened a taproom at the brewery with an indoor seating capacity of 100 plus an outdoor pavilion and spacious lawn. We truly appreciate being in the community of River Falls where we have wooded hiking and mountain biking trails literally in our backyard. There is simply no better place to enjoy a variety of our latest creations, including 16 taps with our year-round and seasonal beers, our specialty infusions and barrel-aged offerings. We don’t take ourselves too seriously as we aim to create an atmosphere where folks can get together, relax and have fun!
